JUDA — Shelly Jordan, Carrie Schwartz and Jean Busker from Juda Zion Community Church returned from New York City where they sang in Carnegie Hall on December 2.

“We didn’t just sing songs. We had a powerful and memorable musical experience in Carnegie Hall,” Jordan said.

They participated in a festive concert presented by mass choirs assembled from all around the world, a full NYC-based orchestra, and world premier of “GLORIA” by Mary McDonald.

Director and composer McDonald said she struggled to write “Gloria’ and then just saw it in Latin. “I’ve never written in Latin before. I’m from Tennessee. I can barely speak in good English,” McDonald said.
