WHITEWATER - Two local students were among the presenters at Undergraduate Research Day Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Brandon Lengel from Juda, majoring in chemistry, presented a project called "Acesulfame K influence in water sources."
Joseph Mozuch from Brooklyn, majoring in biology, presented a project called "Incorporation of magnetic nanoparticle-exogenous DNA complexes into bovine Spermatoza."
Projects ranged from social work and criminology to performing art pieces. Many of the students have been preparing their research and working alongside a faculty mentor for close to a year.
