Local bank takes part in toy drive

MONROE - AnchorBank is asking Monroe residents from to band together and donate toys for its annual Toy Drive. The Bank has set a goal to collect 10,000 toys - from Nov. 15 through Dec. 7 - a goal that was last met in 2007. Toys collected are distributed to needy children and families.

As part of the Anchor Bank drive, Monroe's branch will collect new and unwrapped toys for the Monroe Christmas Stocking.

Other charities receiving toy donations across the state include the Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, the Boys' and Girls' Brigade and many more. A complete list of charities receiving donations throughout Wisconsin is available on anchorbank.com.

The public can also support the toy drive and win prizes by entering AnchorBank's toy-drive coloring contest. To enter, participants will be asked to color a toy-drive coloring page, available at any AnchorBank branch or printed online at anchorbank.com.

Completed pages should be dropped off at any AnchorBank location or mailed to AnchorBank's Marketing Department at 25 W. Main St., Madison, WI 53703.

One winner will be chosen from each of the three different age groups: 5 years and under, ages 6-9 and ages 10-17 and can select one of four available prize packages. Entries will be posted to AnchorBank's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/anchorbankfsb throughout the toy drive.
