An 800-pound 9/11 artifact, likely a piece of floor structure between the 18th and 64th floors of the World Trade Center in New York City, was delivered to Monroe in 2011 before the 10th anniversary of the attacks. The memorial is placed on the west side of the downtown Monroe fire station and City Hall.

● Republican Party of Green County is hosting a special breakfast at the American Legion Building in honor of all First Responders of Green County.

● The Monroe American Legion and Auxiliary Unit alongside Main Street Monroe will host a ceremony at 11 a.m. on the west side of the Green County Courthouse, followed by a prayer.

● The Brotherhood of Saints mc Wisconsin is hosting “Remember 9/11” at 5 p.m. in Deb’s Bar.

● 9/11 Memorial Race Under the Lights at 8 p.m. at the Sugar River Raceway.

NEW GLARUS

● Silent Procession at 8 a.m. beginning from New Glarus High School to Village Park, followed by remembrance service.
