ORANGEVILLE - The Mighty Richland Players Dessert Theater will show "Little Red Schoolhouse ... Revisited" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at the Masonic Hall, 203 W. High St.

The show is an original piece of Americana from the mid-1900s. It was a time when "Readin,' 'Ritin,' and 'Rithmetic," spelling bees and music class were all part of the day in the life of every one-room schoolhouse in the country.
Originally showcased by the Mighty Richland Players in 2004, the show is brought back with a new cast and new schoolroom situations. Actors are playing students in first through sixth grade in a time when getting in trouble meant stealing lunches, pulling a pretty girl's hair and getting away with as much as they could under the teacher's watchful eye. New to the stage is Creighton Barker, Denny Hancock and Jorge Diaz. Regulars include Sandy Sweitzer, Glenda Adams, Sandy Janicke and Sue Wichman.
