MONROE - Monroe Lions Club annual Golf Outing will be held July 27 at the Monroe Country Club, with a shotgun start at noon.
The fundraiser is for the local Lions club. Money raised helps fulfill many needs in many aspects of the community.
The organization is looking for sponsorship for each of the 18 holes. The fee is $50 per hole, and the group will award the prize in the sponsor business' name to the flag winner on the sponsor's participating hole.
The cost for the event is $80 and includes golf, cart, steak dinner, raffle, hole prizes and hole-in-one contest. Register by July 20.
