MONROE - Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave., will hold its Food for Fines event from Monday, Nov. 11 through Saturday, Nov. 16.
Patrons will receive $1 off fines for each non-perishable food item they donate. Waived fines does not include lost or damaged library items. Dented, expired, unsealed or items missing labels will not be accepted. Pet food will be accepted.
All donated items will be given to the Green County Food Pantry or the Green County Humane Society.
