MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host a special Christmas storytime at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 in the family reading area of the children's room at the library, 925 16th Ave.
Kris Ault, youth services librarian, will share stories, songs and rhymes of the season. Kringle, her puppet friend from the North Pole, will bring the audience up to date on preparations for Santa's big trip on Christmas Eve.
Families are welcome to bring their wish lists to the Kris and Kringle program. Santa will appear at 7 p.m. to take last-minute requests and he will have treats for everyone.
