MONROE - Have you had enough of winter? Is the family going a little stir-crazy? Have the birds abandoned your bird feeders because the squirrels have taken them over? Well, as the saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them!

Jump into your jammies and join your friends at the Monroe Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, for an old-fashioned family story time, "As Squirrelly as They Come!"

It will be all squirrels, all the time with squirrel stories, squirrel games, and even a puppet show featuring the newest member of the library puppet family, Scurry the Squirrel. Top off the evening's fun with a craft that the squirrels will love.

This family story time is the March event in the Family Evening at the Library series. The Family Evening programs are a time for children and their caring adults to relax together, share a laugh, and find some stories to share at home.
