MONROE - The Monroe Public Library is seeking individuals interested in serving on the Monroe Public Library Board of Trustees.
Candidates should be interested in libraries and bring demonstrated leadership and expertise to its membership. The Board of Trustees acts as advocates for the library and its staff through the development of policies, budgets and goals. The board meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Monroe Public Library. No experience is necessary.
Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. Aug. 16.
