ALBANY - The Albany Historical Society will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Albany Historical Museum, 119 N. Water St.

After a short meeting, Dennis Dulling, a life member, will present a program titled "Secrets Under the Ice." Dulling has spent many winters in the Antarctic area working with a crew that drills under the ice into the lake below. His group is the only group ever to have drilled under the ice. Dulling will tell about the life under the ice and what they eat, with photos.

Refreshments will be provided. This free event is open to the public and free-will donations are welcome.
