MONROE - The Green County Historical Society Barn Project is partnering with Green County libraries to sponsor a photo contest of Green County barns.
Amateur photographers are invited to enter the Green County Barn Photo Contest. There will be a winner in a children's category and an adult category.
Entry forms may be picked up at the checkout desk at the Monroe Public Library from June 1-21.
Photos will be displayed at the library during June and library visitors may vote for their favorite photos from June 22-29.
The Monroe Public Library will name two winners, who will then be judged with the winning photos from the other Green County libraries, with a county-wide winner chosen.
