ARGYLE - The Argyle Legion Auxiliary Unit 251 will host its annual drive for items to make military men and women's stay in the hospital more pleasant through Wednesday, Nov. 30.
The unit is asking for clothing items, personal care items, snack items, miscellaneous items and monetary donations. Acceptable items include sweatshirts, sleep pants, stocking caps, gloves, mittens, mouthwash, disposable razors, shaving cream (small size), pens/pencils, stationary, envelopes, snack crackers, jellies and sugar-free drink mixes. The unit is not accepting cookies or candy.
To make a monetary donation, make checks payable to Argyle Legion Auxiliary Unit 251 and send to Mary Ann Steep, Treasurer, 16798 Valley Road, Argyle, WI, 53504.
Items can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Argyle Community Building, 401 E. Milwaukee St.
