MONROE - The second Sunday buffet breakfast is set for 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Aug. 11 at the American Legion, 1627 12th St.
The menu includes pancakes, French toast, fried and scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham, sausage, muffins, biscuits and gravy, juices, fruit cups, and assorted sweets.
The price is $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 3 through 10, and children under 3 are free. All proceeds go toward veterans' services, community services and scholarships.
