DARLINGTON — The Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society will hold “Cheese Factories of Lafayette County” program by cheese factory expert Paul Vassalotti at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 6.
The event will include the history of cheese making in the county and cheese tasting samples from several area cheesemakers.
Darlington Optimists Cheese Curds will also be available for purchase to thoroughly enjoy the subject.
The event and samples are free, though donations area gratefully accepted.
The Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society Museum, located at 525 Main Street in Darlington, has ample parking and stair-less access.
