DARLINGTON — On Sunday, Jan. 11, The Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society will hold its Annual Membership Meeting featuring a presentation on the latest publication — The Darlington Depot and Caboose, Historical Preservation and Restoration, at 1 p.m.  

Author Barb Nemec will describe the processes involved and discoveries made in researching the history of the Depot. There will be time for Q&A.

The program is free and open to the public. People are encouraged to bring questions or railroad artifacts for show and tell or donation to the museum.

It will take place in the lower level meeting room of the museum, located at 525 Main Street in Darlington. Refreshments will be served.
