DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Land Conservation (LCD) tree orders are due by December 10. Tree order forms are available at the LCD office, 1900 Ervin Johnson Drive, Darlington, Wisconsin 53530. Orders may be placed by mail, by calling (608) 776-3836, by fax at (608) 776-2170, or e-mail lafayettelcd@yahoo.com . Payment will be made at the time of tree dispersal in late April.
The LCD is working with Argyle Land Ethic Academy (ALEA) as the plant supplier. ALEA has its own greenhouse, and has grown plants from county-native species. Individual plants will be available for purchase at the April LCD tree dispersal, or collections can be pre-ordered through ALEA in March or April.
