MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee School of Engineering recently announced that Sofia Larraga, Monroe, is one of four high school seniors who have been awarded a presidential scholarship for four years of full tuition.
Larraga is a senior at Monroe High School and plans to major in international business at MSOE.
To qualify for MSOE's most prestigious scholarship, students needed a minimum 3.80 cumulative grade point average and a 28 or higher composite score on the ACT (1240 SAT) and be accepted for enrollment by Feb. 1.
In addition, the students attended and competed at a scholarship event, took part in an interview process and provided an essay.
