DARLINGTON - The Lafayette Manor Auxiliary hosted its fifth annual cookout in the parking lot of Lafayette Manor on Sept. 24.
About 600 people were served a meal. All menu items were donated by community members. Music was provided by Sarah Lange-Flanagan, Gloria Blasér and Tom Black. Many gift baskets and other items were donated for the raffle and 25 winners went home with an item they had wanted to win.
The Lafayette Manor Auxiliary board consists of: Mary Knellwolf, president; Don Monson, vice president; Janeen Benson, treasurer; and Lori Allendorf, secretary. The Auxiliary is accepting new members.
