DARLINGTON — Lafayette County Extension 4-H is bringing free, interactive programs to local libraries each month, offering youth and community members opportunities to connect, be creative, and try new activities. These themed craft and learning programs are designed to engage participants of all ages, foster relationships, and encourage community involvement in a fun, welcoming environment.

Rooted in the 4-H developmental framework of sparks, belonging, relationships, and engagement, the library programs provide consistent opportunities for youth and families to participate in skill-building, hands-on experiences. By offering these programs at no cost, 4-H is helping more community members engage regularly, build confidence, and strengthen social connections while exploring new interests.

“These library programs are a fantastic way for youth and families to connect with the community and explore their creativity,” said Hailee Kammerud, 4-H Educator. “We are excited to see participants of all ages learning, engaging, and forming new friendships through 4-H activities.”
