DARLINGTON — Lafayette County Association for Home & Community Education took 11 items to the state conference for judging at Appleton.
Marian Seffrood, an individual member, sent two items. Her queen sized quilt received a first and The Award of Merit for all the quilts entered. She also entered a crocheted baby blanket that she received a first place on.
Jean Voights, member of the Hill ‘N’ Dale Club, received a first place on her quilted baby blanket.
Sue Reilly, member of the Share & Care Club, entered six cards that she received a second place on.
Virginia Douglas, member of the Salty Hallow Club, received a second place on her tied quilt.
Marian Kelly, member of the Wardsville Club, received first place for a burlap flower center piece.
Christa Jenson, member of the Red Rock Club, entered five items, including a crocheted toddler sweater that received a first, a quilt that received a second, a Diamond Dot picture that received a third, a knitted baby sweater that received a second, and a knitted scarf that received a second.
Marian Kelly and Christa Jenson sent items for the raffle that will help fund next year’s show.
