MONROE - The Monroe Kiwanis Club will meet at noon Wednesday at the American Legion, 1627 12th Ave., Monroe.
Mary Olson of Maple Lane Farm, Stoughton, will speak on "Farming and Food." She will answer questions, such as how farmers are using science and technology to grow healthier food and what the impact is on food, animal care and the environment. Olson will highlight how ongoing advancements in agricultural science are helping farmers raise better food while using fewer natural resources.
