Kids from Wisconsin to perform Aug. 25

DARLINGTON - The Kids from Wisconsin will perform 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the Darlington High School auditorium.

Kids from Wisconsin has been entertaining audiences throughout the state since 1969. The group's performances feature 20 singer/dancers and a 13-piece show band, all chosen from among the state's finest musicians.

Isaac Risseeuw, Darlington, a University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music education student, is a singer/dancer in the troupe. The show features the Music of Michael Jackson, Steely Dan, country hits of today, Three Dog Night, Bill Bailey, Journey, Gershwin Medley, highlights from Grease and the Dave Matthews Band.

Kids is a non-profit corporation. The group performs daily during the 11-day run of the State Fair, Aug. 5 to 15.

Tickets for the Aug. 25 performance can be obtained by contacting Darlington High School at (608) 776-4001. Tickets are $12. Any available tickets will be sold at the door. The Lions Club will also be providing a brat stand from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
