Kempel named vice president

DARLINGTON - Badgerland Financial announces Tim Kempel has accepted the position of assistant vice president, working out of the cooperative's Darlington and Monroe branch offices.

"Tim brings a wealth of experience in ag and rural lending and is committed to helping Badgerland Financial's members succeed and achieve their goals," says Amber Bennett, vice president for Badgerland Financial. "We are excited that Tim has joined our team and look forward to our members having the opportunity to work with him."

In his new position, Kempel will work within a team environment to provide loans and related financial services to farmers, rural residents, rural communities and agribusinesses. Kempel grew up on a dairy farm in northern Illinois, and is a graduate of Illinois State University where he majored in agribusiness and economics. He comes to Badgerland Financial with over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, and most recently owned a financial consulting business.
