MONTICELLO — The Monticello Area Historical Society (MAHS) will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27 in the Zwingli UCC Lounge, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello. 

Following a short business meeting, Doug Karlen will talk about his book, “Cousins, A Swiss Immigrant’s Family Story.” 

“My goals for all who read this book are for you to learn something about the Jacob Trumpy family and experience the love, happiness, hurts, and challenges that I believe exists within every family around the world,” Karlen said.

This is a free presentation and the public is welcome.
