Juda Zion Christmas program coming Dec. 11

JUDA — On Sunday, Dec. 11, at 1:30 p.m., the annual Christmas program will be held at the Juda Zion Church.  

Titled “Simply Christmas… an Afternoon of Joy”, the program will feature The Christmas Story along with a variety of special music from soloists, duets, small ensembles, audience sing-a-longs, and a candle-lit “Silent Night”, all interspersed with narrations. 

Under the direction of Shelly Jordan, the following participants will take part: Steve Anderson, Lisa Behnke, Kim Becker, Kay Carter, Sharon Creuzer, Aurora Daniels, Corrine Daniels, Liana Daniels, Pat Daniels, Scott Davis, Julie Davis, JoAnn Eberle, Julia Figi, Beth Figi, JoAnn Hawthorn, Joyce Hoesly, Bill Jahn, Pastor Kelly Jahn, Sara Jordan, Peggy Jordan, Shelly Jordan, Judy Kaderly,  Rudy Kaderly, Kalvin Kaderly, Jan Ladwig, Peggy Matzke, Bob Severson, Kim Shields, Carrie Soddy, Justin Soddy, Nicole Ramirez and Tucker Bolton. Brian Matzke and Pat Daniels are in charge of lighting; Bill Jahn and Kalvin Kaderly will handle the sound system; and Peggy Matzke and Hazel Matzke will take care of the publicity.  

Refreshments in the Fellowship Hall will follow the concert. The program is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be accepted, with a portion of the donations going to the Eric Makos family.
