JUDA — The Next Generation 4-H Club held their 30th Annual Juda Toy Show Sept. 9 at the Community Center/Fire Station in downtown Juda.

This year’s featured tractor was a 1999 Case 930 tractor owned by Roger Green of Brodhead.  The event hosted more than 100 tables of toys, crafts, honey, maple syrup, brown eggs, mums, pumpkins and straw along with handmade wooden toys, quilts, doll clothing and farm displays.  Vendors from four states started arriving at 6 a.m. and doors opened at 9 a.m.  The club held a food stand until 2 p.m. serving breakfast and lunch.  The Dan Meier Family sponsored the Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pull for ages 3-10 with trophies awarded to the top three pullers in each age group.

However, every child that participated was a winner with two local businesses and received coupons and ice cream cone chips from Subway and Dairy Queen of Monroe. The event also sponsored a tractor show where a lineup of tractors had a chance to win a trophy or cash prizes in four classes.  Next year’s event is set for Sept. 8, 2019.
