Juda High School plans week’s homecoming events

JUDA — Juda High School announces their 2019 homecoming activities for the week of Sept. 30 ending with the Homecoming dance Oct. 5. The week includes dress-up days around the theme “Under the Sea,” powder puff football and other events. The schedule is as follows:

Monday: Pirate Day, start of hall decorating, homeroom event

Tuesday: Little Mermaid Day, junior varsity/freshman football vs. East Troy at 4:45 p.m., cross-country at Jefferson, volleyball at Pecatonica with 7 p.m. varsity start, homeroom event

Wednesday: Tourist/Tropical Shirt Day, ladies’ powder-puff football, guys’ volleyball at 6 p.m., Homecoming Court announced at 7:30 p.m., games during homeroom

Thursday: SpongeBob Day, class video viewing during homeroom, volleyball vs. Monticello with 7 p.m. varsity start, homeroom event

Friday: Spirit Day, K-12 pep rally from 1 to 1:30 p.m., high school games from 1:30 to 3:05 p.m., homecoming parade at 4 p.m. in Brodhead, homecoming football game at 7 p.m. vs. Whitewater, dance decorating by student council in morning

Saturday: Homecoming dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. with Grand March at 8 p.m., clean-up until 11:15 p.m. Tickets are $3 per student, $5 per couple and $1 for spectator.
