JUDA - The Juda FFA Chapter received their charter on January 12, 1950 and 60 years later they are preparing to celebrate some of the history at their 60th annual FFA Banquet on Saturday May 8, at the Juda School. FFA officers have been searching for past FFA members and their addresses and have found this to be an almost impossible task.

"We are trying to contact as many former members and advisors as we can by mail or by phone," said Ralph Johnson, Juda's FFA Advisor. "It is going to be impossible to get everyone contacted as some have moved to other states and many of the female's have gotten married and changed their last names, which makes it even harder to find them; especially some of the older members."

Anyone who is a former Juda FFA member or knows of a member, invite them to May 8 event.

A meal will be served at the Juda School cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. and the banquet program will begin in the gymnasium starting at 1 p.m. In order to get an accurate meal count, the group would appreciate a phone call or e-mail to let them know who is planning to attend. Reservations can be made by calling Ralph Johnson at (608) 934-5251, ext. 261 or through e-mail at: rj@juda.k12.wi.us.

Juda FFA has a lot of history and much of it will be on display and talked about on May 8 during this anniversary banquet.
