JUDA - "Christmas Is Forever" is the title and theme of this year's Christmas musical to be presented by the choirs of the Juda: Zion and Oakley: Union United Methodist Churches. Two performances, 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, are offered at the Juda church on the corner of Walnut and Church Streets.
By music, pantomime and spoken word, Christmas is portrayed through the wonder of children and the memories of age. The whole gospel story is seen from the beginning of time and the fall of Adam and Eve to God's plan of salvation from the manger to the cross.
The cantata is directed by Shelly Jordan. Special musical numbers are performed by Morgan Adkins, Darlene Becker, Sharon Creuzer, Pat Daniels, Gene Dobbins, JoAnn Eberle, Joyce Hoesly, Peggy Jordan, Shelly Jordan and Jacob Ramos. Liza Behnke and Tom Miller provide the narration.
The public is invited. Admission is free but there will be an opportunity to donate to the churches' music ministry.
