MONROE - The Monroe Junior Optimist will have a car wash and lunch stand from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at WSB Processing, 724 4th Ave., Monroe. The location is across from Woodford State Bank.
Youth will be raising money to help pay expenses to attend the Optimist Youth International Convention in Denver in July. The students will learn leadership skills and community service objectives along with their peers at the convention.
