Internet discussion to address role of downtowns

MONROE - A Downtown Business Retention Strategies webinar will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, in the upstairs conference room at Wisconsin Community Bank, 1717 10th Street in Monroe. Guest Speakers are Rick Ferrell, principal of Retail Market Answers, LLC (RMA) and Bill Pinkovitz, business management specialist, UW-Extension Center for Community and Economic Development.

It is presented by the UW Extension's Local Government Center in cooperation with the Wisconsin Downtown Action Council and the Wisconsin Main Street Program. Lunch can be provided for those who are interested. All participants must register by calling Cara Carper at (608) 328-9441. The webinar is free; the cost for (optional) lunch is $12. Checks payable to Monroe Chamber of Commerce.
