DARLINGTON — Dogs, dog owners and their families showed up for a day of festivities at Bones and Belly Rubs in Darlington on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Darlington business held its first annual Howlween Pawty to celebrate its first anniversary in business.
There was a pet costume contest, which saw canines decked out as vampires, Harry Potter, cows, sheriff’s deputies and prisoners. Awards were given for owner/handler look-a-like, Most Creative and Most Hilarious.
There were inflatables, and dogs and children shared the steps, slides and playgrounds at the facility. There was a photo booth, a place to play bags/cornhole, a silent baked goods auction, trick or treating for pets and children, and more.
Jose’s Food Truck fed those that attended the free event.
