Homecoming week starts Monday

JUDA - Juda High School recently announced its 2012 homecoming schedule for the week of Monday, Sept. 24.

The week includes dress up days, Powder-Puff football and other events.

Monday is Fake Injury/Tie-Dye Day. Poster decorating starts.

Tuesday is Superhero/Twin Day. The Fender Bender event will take place from 8:40 to 9 a.m. Junior varsity/freshman football, cross country and volleyball will all play.

Wednesday is Mismatched Day. Powder-Puff football for women and volleyball for men will be held at 6 p.m.

Thursday is Corporate Casual Day. Poster judging will be held at 2 p.m. The Punt, Pass and Kick event will be held at 3:15 p.m. Volleyball will play Pecatonica at 6 p.m. The Homecoming Court will be announced at 7 p.m.

Friday is Spirit Day. A pep rally for kindergarten through 12 will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. High school games, including National Guard Rock Climbing Experience, will be held from 1:30 to 3:05 p.m. The Homecoming Parade will be held at 4 p.m. in Brodhead. The Homecoming football game will be held at 7 p.m. in Brodhead.

On Saturday, dance decorating will take from 9 to 11 a.m. Cross country will be at the Platteville Invite. The homecoming dance will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. with the grand march at 8:15 p.m. The cost is $4 for student, $7 for couple and $1 for grand march spectators. There will be cleanup until 11:30 p.m.
