MONROE - Monroe Main Street will hold a lighting contest for city residents. There will be six catagories for the contest: Children's Favorite Christmas; Business Store Fronts; Oh Holy Night; Lights, Lights, and More Lights; Block Party; and Country Christmas. Judging will take place on Thursday, Dec. 9 and Friday, Dec. 10.
