BRODHEAD — The Brodhead Jaycees and the Southern Wisconsin Land Conservancy will kick off a festive day with Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Three Waters Reserve, N3941 Golf Course Road, Brodhead.
This free, family-friendly event invites the community to stop in, meet Santa, enjoy donuts, fruit, and assorted breakfast treats, and enter Give-Away Baskets in the upper level. Downstairs, children can take part in a variety of holiday-themed activities, including coloring, a magic reindeer food station, and other seasonal crafts. Make sure to bring items to donate for a community food drive. This event is free and open to all.
Beginning at noon, Three Waters Reserve will host our Holiday Open House, running until 3 p.m. Guests are invited to tour the newly updated facility, including the completed Bridal Suite, a newly added pergola and grand stone staircase, and a refreshed lower level.
In the spirit of the season, the Southern Wisconsin Land Conservancy partnering with Family Promise of Green County to support a community food drive benefiting families in need during the Holiday Open House. High-priority, non-perishable items requested by Family Promise include:
● Spaghetti sauce
● Peanut butter
● Tuna or packaged white chicken
● Cereals
● Soups
All other non-perishable items are welcome as well. Bring five items to donate and receive three free tickets to enter the Give-Away Baskets. Plus, SWLC will be matching donations up to $500 in supplies collected during the event.
The festivities continue with an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, with the winner announced at 1:30 p.m. By making a donation or signing up for an SWLC Membership, you will receive bonus entries for a variety of Give-Away Baskets. Tickets will be available from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. when winners will be drawn.
SWLC and Three Waters Reserve will also host a Lunch & Learn at noon on Thursday, Dec. 18.
