The Green County Historical Society has seen many updates this past year, both inside and outside the building. 

All historians in the area are welcome to visit the historical society, 1617 9th St., Monroe, next to Stop & Go, and look over the many unique items for sale. There are antique items, books, city directories, pictoral histories, period jewelry, local business items and more.
