Historical society to meet, set details for Christmas dinner

ALBANY - The Albany Historical Society will hold its general meeting program at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Historical Society Museum, 119 N. Water St.

John and Sherry Hlavacheck, Albany, will share about their trip to Peru after a short business meeting.

Reservations for the annual Christmas dinner slated for Dec. 14 at the Lion's Club building will be made at this meeting. The dinner will include Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Santa's brother and Santa's helper, Carol Bump. The meal is pork roast and will be served by the Albany Baptist Ladies. Reservations can be made any Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the museum, at Nov. 21 meeting or by calling 608-862-3573. The deadline is Dec. 9.
