ALBANY - Wayne Stemple, a member of the Albany Village Board, will explain his interest in geocaching to members and guests at the Albany Historical Society's next meeting, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, in the Museum, 119 N. Water St.

A relatively new topic gaining popularity, geocaching participants can give and receive, go alone or in a group, and share their interest with others, according to Stemple, who will bring samples of items he hides and has found. A short business meeting will precede Stemple's program, and refreshments will follow his talk, served by Jane Copus and Peggy Wetter, board members.
