MONTICELLO - The Monticello Area Historical Society annual membership meeting will start with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. May 24 at T n D's Bar and Grill in Monticello. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by the business meeting and program.
Dinner is a two-meat family-style meal.
MAHS will honor its "Founding Mother," Marlene Schmalbeck. The program will feature Cathy Cryor Burgweger sharing her story of the history and restoration project of the old blacksmith shop in Attica to her business, Franklin Grove Etc.
