MONROE - An all-you-can-eat benefit breakfast for the Green County Historical Society and Museum will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Monroe Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave. (behind Farm and Fleet). The benefit breakfast costs $6 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 6-12, children under 6 are free. The breakfast includes all the eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast and many more goodies you can eat.
The society's sesquicentennial stemmed wine glasses will be available at the breakfast. The glasses feature the Monroe logo and the dates 1858-2008. They sell for $8 each or 2 for $15.
This is the largest yearly fundraising event for the Historical Society. Proceeds will be used for continuing restoration and archival projects at the museum.
