MONROE - The Col. Benjamin Harrison Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution will meet at noon Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Turner Hall Ratskeller.
Christie Straight will present a program on historic dolls that were made in Monroe in the late 1930s by Doris Blair. She also made the clothing and dressed the dolls. Years later, the Stark family took ownership of the dolls and moved them to Arizona.
This past year, the dolls have been retrieved and will be on display at the Green County Historical Society in June.
The meeting is open to the public and the dolls will be on display.
