Hist. society will host 'Indian Artifact' program Oct. 17

MONROE - The public is invited to a program sponsored by the Green County Historical Society at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Steve and Janet Gobeli will speak on "Indian Artifacts" and searching through the Midwest. The Gobelis will display their collection of a few hundred artifacts, some dating back 12,000 years. Those attending are welcome to bring along Indian artifacts for identification.

The meeting will be held in the downstairs level of the museum, 1617 9th St. There is ample parking behind the museum.
