ARGYLE - Enjoy a winter night walk by candlelight in Yellowstone State Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Luminaries will line the path along an easy one-mile hike through the woods and along the dike above the lake. If the weather is clear, attendees will be able to stargaze. At the end of the trail, there will be a bonfire. Hot cocoa, coffee and cider will be served in the park office along with homemade cookies.
Indoor restrooms will be open.
The family-friendly event is hosted by the Friends of Yellowstone Lake State Park. The event is free, but a state park admission sticker or fee is required. For more information, call the park office at 608-523-4427.
