Josh and Erin Polkinghorn, Argyle, are the parents of a daughter, Layla Dean Polkinghorn, born Feb. 9, 2010, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. Layla weighs 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and is 19 1/2 inches long. She joins a sister, Alexis, 10. Grandparents are Art and Denise Hanson, Dodgeville; Jim and Lois McComish, Dodgeville; and Ken and Becky Polkinghorn, Venice, Fla. Great-grandparents are Maureen McFarlane, Sheboygan, and Jewel Leopold, Freeport.
