Tammy and Fernando Garcia, Mineral Point, are the parents of a son, Cristian Luis, born Aug. 13, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County, Darlington. He was 9 pounds and 20 inches. He joins seven siblings: Cody, 22, Dillon, 20, Dacia, 19, Tanicia, 17, Fernando, 9, Alejandra, 7, and Mateo, 5.

Grandparents are Neil and Trudy Blabaum, Baraboo, and Luis and Maria Luisa Garcia, Mexico.
