MONROE - Health care screenings will be conducted at the American Legion Post 84, 1627 12th Ave., Dec. 21.
Residents in and around Monroe can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other chronic, serious conditions.
The screenings will check for several health risks, including arterial plaque build-up, cholesterol levels, diabetes, bone density, and kidney and thyroid function.
Consultants will be available to create a screening package based on age and risk factors. Packages start at $149.
