DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Association for Home and Community Education is sponsoring a walk to raise awareness of the Associated Country Women of the World and funds for Pennies for Friendship on Saturday, April 27.
HCE members, family and friends will meet at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at the Lafayette County University of Wisconsin-Extension office, 627 Washington St. The walk will be along the River Walk Trail.
In the end of April, women throughout the world participate in the annual Women Walk Around the World for ACWW to promote ACWW and to raise funds for its work.
No registration is necessary. Donations will be accepted at the walk.
