FREEPORT, IL — The Highland Gallery, located in the Ferguson Fine Arts Center at Highland Community College, will present the 2025 Visual Arts Faculty Exhibit from October 22 through December 3.
This popular annual exhibition will showcase recent works by Robert Apolloni, Jocelyn Chase, Arthur Santoro, and Loretta Swanson whom are all working artists and instructors in Highland’s Visual Arts Department. The exhibit highlights the creativity, skill, and diverse perspectives of the College’s faculty, offering a glimpse into their personal artistic practices beyond the classroom.
“The exhibit illuminates the images and ideas explored by our faculty artists,” said Highland Gallery Director Robert Apolloni. “It’s always a favorite because it allows our community to experience these educators as professional exhibiting artists rather than solely as instructors. Their work reflects a wide range of media, themes, and styles, revealing the depth of their experience and passion for visual art.”
The 2025 exhibition will feature:
● Robert Apolloni — Mixed media drawings
● Jocelyn Chase — Ceramics
● Arthur Santoro — Digital images
● Loretta Swanson — Prints and drawings
An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, October 22, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests are invited to meet the artists, discuss their creative processes, and celebrate the vibrant arts community at Highland. Refreshments will be served.
The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
