MONROE — The annual Happy Harvest Festival at Heidi’s Happy Acres returns this Saturday, Oct. 4. The event, held at W4341 Montgomery Road, will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be food, local craft vendors, inflatables, pumpkins, a petting zoo, corn maze, family fun, mums and more.
The Kid Zone will include bounce castles and bounce obstacle course, face painting, games and more. The Kid Zone station costs money, and parents will have to sign a waiver, which is available to fill out online ahead of time at heidishappyacres.com.
The corn maze is five acres large. The petting zoo is free and there will also be animals from the Green County Humane Society. For the safety of all guests, it is asked to leave personal pets at home.
Juda Fire Trucks and Green County EMS ambulance will be attending for viewing.
Food options include a variety of food trucks, cotton candy, apple cider donuts, coffee trucks and Kona Ice.
Shuttles will run all day from the parking area to the event area.
A portion of the day’s profits will go to Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and Green County’s Sexual Assault Recovery Program (SARP).
“By supporting us, you are also supporting our ‘Pickin’ for a Cause’ initiative,” said Heidi Kent, organizer and farm owner. “A portion of our pumpkin seasonal sales goes directly to our chosen beneficiary, helping to make a positive impact in our community.”
